What is an Osteopath?

Osteopathy is a form of manual medicine which recognises the important link between the structure of the body and the way it functions. Osteopaths focus on how the skeleton, joints, muscles, nerves, circulation, connective tissue and internal organs function as a holistic unit. Osteopathic treatment is unique in that we focus on the problem area and assess the whole body to ensure that you are functioning at your optimum levels. Osteopathic treatment uses techniques such as joint mobilisation, massage, manipulation and stretching to help patients achieve normal pain-free movement.

En Pointe Osteopathy

At En Pointe Osteopathy, our expert osteopaths take a holistic approach to treating acute and chronic conditions for your whole family at all stages of life. Our holistic osteopathy treatment utilises a combination of soft tissue massage, manipulation and exercise modalities. Our expert osteopaths are highly trained tertiary qualified professionals who have completed a five-year university course and are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). In addition, all our health care professionals are members of Osteopathy Australia and are committed to ongoing post-graduate education.
